I paint to release my emotions. I paint to be free. Art is a spiritual ritual for me, a form of meditation. In the process of painting, my emotions change, and so does the painting. I paint for people to feel, not to see… Everybody sees different things in my painting, as if it is the reflection of their thoughts, their feelings. That’s the beauty of abstractionism... It makes people dive deep into their souls, their hearts, their feelings. Jackson Pollock, the master of putting energy and feeling in his work, made me realize that you should never paint for someone else – Art is an intimate process, where your thoughts and emotions get naked and you fully merge in the work you create. I hope my art will have an influence on people to dive deeper into their emotions, to search for the deep meaning hidden in the corner of their soul, suppressed by the routine of everyday worries and the shallowness of today’s materialistic world.
